How long have you published TechTrax?
Publisher: TechTrax debuted May, 2002.
How did you get started publishing TechTrax?
Publisher: As a Microsoft MVP who has enjoyed helping users since 1995, I'd already written several free tutorials on my web site (www.mousetrax.com). With the help of other volunteer tech pros, I was able to turn a few tutorials into a very popular, free online magazine. TechTrax is now read monthly by several thousand computer users (see our home page list for the current subscriber count) who are learning to use their PCs much better.
What can a reader expect from an issue of TechTrax?
Publisher: Each month, readers can expect to find a load of terrific articles and tutorials for all user levels...from PC newbies to black belt admins and programmers. Our articles are easy to understand for the level at which they are written. And along the way, you'll enjoy a few giggles from our sharp-witted, professional writing team.
What is the most rewarding aspect of publishing TechTrax?
Publisher: With TechTrax, we've created a very cool community of users who get together each month through our ezine to learn and share information. And I don't just mean our writers...our readers write in with their comments and questions, too...which we encourage. Most all is free, but we also offer higher level tutorials/training for yearly members, all while not subjecting readers to annoying ads because our expert writers are volunteers. We enjoy sharing info with our peers! A technical ezine you won't find anywhere else!
